Rosemary: properties and benefits
Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) is a shrub that is native to Europe, Asia and Africa; additionally, it’s now spontaneously showing up Mediterranean areas in both coastal regions and further inland. Its name comes from the Latin words "ros" (dew) and "maris" (sea). Because it has multiple benefits, including it being refreshing, flavorful and soothing, Rosemary is used in cosmetics, especially for the skin and hair.
