Horsetail
Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) is a herbaceous perennial plant that belongs to the Equisetaceae family and is among one of the oldest organisms on earth: fossil remains of some species have been found that date back to over 300 million years ago. They propagate and reproduce by means of spores. The name comes from the Latin "equus seta", or "horse hair", because of its thin branches. It drains body liquids, improves urinary tract function, and helps the trophism of connective tissue and the health of hair and nails.
