Cat’s Claw
Cat's Claw (Uncaria Tomentosa) is a climbing plant native to the Peruvian jungle, belonging to the Rubiaceae family. Its common name comes from the shape of its thorns, which resemble cat’s nails. The term Uncaria derives from the Latin word uncus, meaning "hook", while tomentosa means "covered with hair". Cat's Claw extract supports the body’s immune defenses.
